Please note there is an age restriction on the courses of age 12-14:

• Minimum age 12 on 1st Sept 2024 (moving into Year 8 School Year 2024-25)

• Maximum age 14 on 1st Sept 2024 (moving into Year 10 School Year 2024-25)

Course Dates

• Monday 22nd July to Friday 26th July

• Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August

• Monday 5th August to Friday 9th August

• Monday 12th August to Friday 16th August

• Monday 19th August to Friday 23rd August

• Tuesday 27th August to Friday 30th August (IMPROVER COURSES FOR THOSE WITH PRIOR EXPERIENCE)

 

Courses are split into 2 sessions with a break in between for snack and a rest:
 

Morning courses start at 9:00am and finish at 12:30pm.

Afternoon courses run from 2:00pm and finish at 5:30pm.

During the Course

 

Your child will need a snack and water bottle; they will spend the majority of the day on the water/outside, therefore it is important to keep hydrated and maintain energy throughout the course. 

​

You will need basic outdoor PE kit to take part. It is important to pack enough kit for 2 separate outdoor sessions a day and a light waterproof in the event of rain. A change of socks is important as they can get wet whilst getting in and out of boats. Obviously the weather can be very varied so please pack accordingly. If we are fortunate enough to get some sun then sunscreen is advised especially when on the water.

  

Payment Details

 

All payments must be made at the time of booking through our online booking system.

 

The cost for the camp is £315 (£300 if booked prior to 1st June) for the week and all payments are to be paid through this booking system.

 

Coaches

​

The lead coaches for the week will be fully endorsed by Molesey Boat Club, who are insured and fully disclosed. We look forward to receiving your application.

What Next​

 

Unfortunately, we are unable to automatically offer places within our squad to all those who complete a Learn to Row course. Information on our application process will be issued on completion of the course.
