Ollie Stanhope and Ed Fuller Win Gold at the World Championships 2022

MBC vice-captain Alex Wenyon watched MBC GB Para-athletes, Ollie Stanhope and Ed Fuller race to Gold at the World Rowing Championships 2022 in the Czech Republic at a live screening in the Regatta room at MBC on Sunday 25th September.

Winning duo Ollie Stanhope and Ed Fuller won gold in the PR3 men's pair and gold and worlds best time in the mix PR3 4+ with their GBR Para-Rowing team mates (pictured below).

The Paralympic teams path to the World Championship was secured by winning gold at the World Rowing Cup 1 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia in May 2022 where Alex Wenyon won silver in the Mix PR3 4+ (coxing Australia) and gold at the International Para Regatta in Gavirate Italy - all part of the Team GB Rowing journey to Paris 2024.


MBC GB Para-Athlete Annie Caddick raced in the International Para Regatta, Gavirate Italy in the Mix PR3 2x, 2 silvers and the Paris Para Regatta, Mix PR3 2x, gold and silver.
