OFF WATER SUPPORT
WELFARE
We take our rowing seriously but we also understand individuals sometimes need support off the water.
MBC is committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all members.
The club has a strong welfare support network headed up by a designated club welfare officer. Molesey is a British Rowing accredited club and follows best practice principles, as per BR guidance.
All welfare related queries can be directed, confidentially, by email to welfare@moleseyboatclub.org
TOUCHBASE
TouchBase is our tailored support provision, for all senior squad athletes, especially those living away from home for the first time.
The team is here to talk, discuss, query and just have a catch up about anything. From concerns and worries about the hear and now, to advice and mentoring for the future, get in touch with the TouchBase team to organise a catch up over coffee or a call.
The TouchBase team is here to help, listen, encourage, connect and support!
PHYSIOTHERAPY
Molesey has teamed up with Simon Edwards at Sion Physio to help its members recover and rehab both on and off the water.
Simon works on a daily basis with the Senior Squad, liaising directly with the coaches, but is also there to support the needs of all club members.
He runs a clinic out of the physio room in our onsite gym for both private clients and Molesey Boat Club members.
This support is available to all members at a concessionary rate.
BRITISH ROWING
British Rowing recognises and supports successful High Performance Programmes in a number of leading clubs funded by Sport England
